Cenicero / monedero

Inspirada en una idea japonesa de raíces ambientalistas, hice este aditamento para aquellos fumadores eco-locos.

La idea es no dejar regadas las colillas o para los más clavados, ¡ni las cenizas!

La nicotina que se queda impregnada en los filtros de las colillas contamina mucho.

Igual y es algo nuevo y extraño. En fin, la idea es que si sales a un lugar buena onda con la naturaleza y no hay cómo guardar la basura, sería bueno hacerlo en un lugar que no se quema y que tiene un diseño super cool.
Aunque por supuesto puede ser más cool que unas florecitas.

También hay la opción de ponerle un forro coqueto para usarlo como monedero por si te gustó y no fumas :3

Palas / Shovel

This is the most recent project I've worked on. A shovel made with wood and plastic. Those were my proposals. Hope you find them interesting. Este fue el último proyecto en el que trabajamos en en CIDI. Una pala de 60 cm y estas son mis propuestas en madera y en plástico. Espero que las encuentren, al menos, interesantes.

Let´s talk about moulding -shapes and materials-

During the process of research on this growing material, turned out that the material and shape (although a little bit less) matters for the fungi to grow properly. This last months I've been working with different types of moulds. Mainly silicone based moulds. Also with glass and plastic like PP or PE from recused food containers. It turnes out that the best performance was given by the silicone moulds that are used in the food industry. Not sure if there is a specific type of name but the ones I was using where for making ice. I'm pretty sure the ones that are used for baking would also be well suited for this task. There is a couple of photos showing the thickness of the walls. I found that this thickness becomes important because a good performance is given when it's allowing the mycelium to breath in and out having an exchange of gases.
